In the area where we were buying bagged gravel, a black saleswoman was very lazy and unwilling to help, and she had a bad attitude and deliberately made things difficult for the customers.

Hostile staff at the Garden Center made it impossible to purchase plants on Jun 25th 2024 afternoon. An older white man at the Garden check out had a very bad attitude when asked how to water the plant I was about to purchase. He didn't answer the question and refused to help. I tried to pay with Samsung pay, which worked in the same store multiple times previously. It is a technology that sends NFC signal making it the same as swiping a physical card. He suddenly started yelled to my face very loud 'there is no Apple pay, there is nothing, would you stop doing it right now?' I tried to explain that it was not Apple pay and kept trying to pay, but he kept yelling very loud and repeating none stop. I couldn't talk. It was such a horrible experience, I had to leave without purchasing anything as soon as possible. Home Depot was known for having workers who were interested in the products and were the experts. I am still in shock how could someone like that be allowed to work at a customer facing position.

I got several plants in the afternoon on 5/14/24 and paid through the plants section. The cashier was commanding me to lift the plants so he could scan the bar code. While it sounded fine, his tone was completely off. There was no "could you please lift that for me?" but "lift that." It was extremely uncomfortable for me, even though he's an older man. I didn't know anyone would need training to be a cashier, but I guess I learned something today. If I knew that was gonna happen, I'd pay through self checkout because that'll be much more comfortable. Oh btw, they still make mistakes of keeping the old price on the tags, but they won't give you the advertised prices since nobody has any authorities here. I don't understand what's so hard about updating the prices on the sign or taking them out when it's no longer valid... It's not like there is just one employee working there ...

Absolute best place to go for plants and gardening needs whether creating your garden from scratch, building an incredible outdoor entertainment center, we're just gathering an incredible selection of beautiful plants and bushes- this is definitely one stop shopping. I often walk through the garden area here. Just marbling at how healthy the plants are and how incredible the pricing is. I would know, I visit almost all of the local plant stores from the small mom and pop shops to the large gourmet plant areas. Home Depot is best selection. Best price and the people are so incredibly knowledgeable. A great place to just pack your lunch and wander

My husband is 70 years of age with a bad back. I asked the cashier if the young man sitting ta0llking with another emplyee could help him load 4 bags of dirt in the car. He said no. He told me that he too was a cashier. I said there is leterially no one on either line. Hardly anyone shopping. It would take less then 5 min. I told him that Home Depot no longer sells customer service.
